  • Federal Fuel Assistance (roughly the value of one tank of fuel oil)
    September - Call Human Services at (603) 746-4288 regarding the paperwork to be completed
    Roughly December – You will be told “yes” or “no” on your application.

  • The Contoocook Carry Community Fund for Fuel Assistance (wood, oil, propane, pellets, electricity and kerosene; some furnace repair and weatherization)  Call Mary at (603) 568-2783 or visit www.cccommunityfund.com

Wood from the Sean Powers Wood Bank

  • Emergencies – Call Mary at (603) 568-2783 or Human Services at (603) 746-4288 to request wood vouchers that will be accepted at the Hopkinton-Webster Transfer Station in return for which you will be able to load wood prepared by townspeople at Sean Powers Wood Bank. You may request additional vouchers during the season until the wood is exhausted.
  • If a cord is absolutely needed – Please call the Contoocook Community Carry fund at (603) 568-2783.
